webedi - fast and cost-effective integration of suppliers

Today already numerous suppliers dispose of own EDI systems and can therefore simply be integrated into the IT systems of the customer, to realize order and supply processes electronically and thus more efficient. However not all suppliers can be integrated with classical EDI because a part of them is not EDI-capable. In order to integrate suppliers without an own EDI system into the supply chain as well, the inubit AG offers a flexible WebEDI solution.

Via the WebEDI solution companies can provide their business partners with requests, delivery schedules etc., which they can access portal-based per browser. So called turn-around forms provided by the application offers the supplier afterwards the possibility to create succeeding documents like e.g. dispatch notifications, delivery notes and invoices and to send those to the customer.

In addition, necessary paper receipts like e.g. material tags incl. barcodes can be created by the system and provided to the supplier for printing (as PDF), if required. The inubit solution converts incoming messages afterwards into EDIFACT messages and passes them to the internal ERP system (e.g. SAP).

Alternatively a direct accounting in the according ERP system without conversion into an EDIFACT message can be executed.

 

Key features of the inubit WebEDI Solution

The inubit WebEDI solution is basically an industry-neutral solution, which can be employed in all scenarios with a high number of suppliers and business partners. It is based on the inubit BPM-Suite as well as on industry-specific process packages.

Optionally, after an adaptation of business workflows to the concrete guidelines of the customer, the definition of the entire portal-logic is realized by so called Technical Workflows of the inubit BPM-Suite and therewith flexibly adaptable at any time.

The integration of all existing applications (incl. SAP and a web-shop), as well as processing and provision of all data formats (especially EDIFACT messages of all years, SAP, iDOC etc.) are basic functionalities of the inubit BPM-Suite.
