The inubit BPM-Suite enables the comprehensive automation of business processes due to the simple and effective integration of internal IT systems, external customers and partners as well as employees.
This process automation is done by so-called technical workflows that are stored and versioned in a central repository analogous to business workflows. Technical workflows are tightly connected to the business model. They automate single process steps as well as entire processes.
The unique continuity, from business process to the technical implementation, enables top-down navigation from a top-level process across sub-processes to their technical realization, at runtime. A professional classification of occurring failures is supported. In addition a watch-mode provides a real-time view on running process instances.
More than 50 standard connectors and adapters are provided for integrating systems and partners. These support direct integration of many systems like SAP and databases as well as numerous communication protocols. Furthermore connectors are available that integrate RFID hardware.

The entire data handling within technical workflows is continuously based on XML. Advanced format adapters convert non-XML formats to XML and vice versa. Thus the inubit BPM-Suite provides comprehensive support for EDI formats like e.g. EDIFACT, ANSI X 12, and VDA. A flat file adapter is available for the use of freely defined inhouse formats. Mapping data structures is done via drag-and-drop in a graphical mapper. Its output is standard compliant XSLT. A command assistant, an integrated debugger, and checks against schemes and DTDs support the fast construction of mappings.
All modules, like connectors, adapters, and data converters, are combined to technical workflows in the workflow designer by graphical drag-and-drop. Error branches, alternative connectors, and error scopes enable a simple error handling, from e-mail notification, SMS, or SNMP to complex error workflows.
A so-called test mode enables convenient debugging of workflows and thus a high quality of technical integration. The transfer of the development / test systems is supported by an integrated deployment process.
The execution of technical workflows is carried out in the workflow engine of the inubit BPM-Suite that is deployed to a J2EE server, as are all inubit BPM-Suite components.
Due to comprehensive monitoring functionalities and SNMP support, surveillance of the system and its secure operating is always granted.
