The information technological process integration of consumer goods manufacturers and their pre-suppliers (e.g. packaging means manufacturer, supplier of flavoring substances etc.) is for many companies an efficiency potential so far not realized.
Certainly this is not due to insufficient technical solutions but caused by a general tentativeness, how business processes and interfaces in such a new form of collaboration have to be configured.
This challenge was picked up by the Global Commerce Initiative (GCI): in the conjointed project “Global Upstream Supply Initiative (GUSI)” process and message recommendations have been developed with the help of worldwide present and well-known companies of this industry (incl. Procter & Gamble, Unilever and many more). This best-practice scheme can now be adopted by all interested and affected companies to achieve a fast and uncomplicated integration of customers and suppliers.

Based on the inubit BPM-Suite you can implement the GUSI processes fast and integratedly via process models, workflows and interfaces up to a GUSI compliant supply chain. More information regarding the inubit BPM-Suite and the topic GUSI you will get from Lars Reimann, your contact person for the inubit retail solutions.
