preconfigured inubit process packages for the adaption of
business processes change of supplier in the gas market

With preconfigured process packages based on the inubit BPM-Suite gas provider and supplier are able to adjust their business processes to the soon effective legal requirements efficiently and cost saving. The resolution BK7-06-067 of the Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA – Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Tele-communication, Post and Railway) envisions the adjustment of the supplier changing process for gas (GeLi Gas) until the 1st of August 2008. The new access model for gas distribution systems became already effective on 1st of October 2007.

The software solution contains all required sub processes like change of supplier, start / end of supply, start of basic / substitute supply, end of substitute supply as well as subsequent processes like transmission of measured data, business data request, network access billing and principles of quantity allocation.

At the execution of these business processes the data format EDIFACT has to be used in the future. The inubit BPM-Suite supports all necessary communication protocols (e-mail , FTP(S), HTTP(S), X.400 and AS2) and all data formats (EDIFACT, CSV, Excel, EDIG@S, XML, ...) as well as the integration of in-house IT systems (SAP® IS-U, Gas-X®, ...). The investment regarding the adjustment to the company specific IT systems is low. With the preconfigured solutions power supplier and public services are able to adapt quickly to new market conditions and benefit at the same time from the efficient process integration. Since the software solution by inubit is preconfigured delivered an implementation on schedule of the legal specifications is guaranteed by all means.

Implementation of the new access model for the gas distribution system

New rights and duties for network operators are regulated by the new access model for the gas distribution system in the cooperation agreement petroleum gas. The model specifies for example for feed-in network operators, accounting grid network operators and accounting grind responsibles the response of allocations in the EDIG@S / EDIFACT format. These requirements, too, can be realized on the basis of the inubit BPM-Suite.
