The name "inubit" stands for "integrating your business and IT" and is vision as well: Since the foundation in 1999, the Berlin-based company stands for the idea to consolidate technological competence and business know-how.

In 1999 the enterprise was founded by Dr. Torsten Schmale und Christian Wessel and they perfectly brought together their complementary skills. Before, Dr. Torsten Schmale managed large software development projects at an international technology group. Christian Wessel was Senior Management Consultant at a consulting firm and responsible for complex projects to optimize business processes between business partners.

Today inubit is managed by the founder Dr. Torsten Schmale (CEO) and MIchael Hahn (COO). Thanks to their vision they succeeded in making the inubit AG the leading supplier in the field of comprehensive Business Process Management (BPM).

"With our purpose-developed BPM-methodology and our award-winning inubit BPM-Suite, we support companies in optimizing and automating their internal and external business processes and in introducing Business Process Management, both on a tactical and strategic level", explains Dr. Torsten Schmale the mission of the enterprise.

inubit considers itself as integral provider of all facets of Business Process Management. Their offer ranges from the BPM-methodology, to the inubit BPM-Suite as technological basis for process optimization and automation, and finally to a comprehensive range of services. These comprise  professional and technical consulting, reliable project implementation as well as Business Process Outsourcing. inubit's central idea is to merge the requirements of IT and business departments and to implement them in continuously applicable products and solutions with good price-performance ratio.

In order to address individual wishes of customers and to react fast and flexibly to market requirements and innovations as well, inubit works closely with national and international partners like system vendors, system integrators and IT consultants in the fields of sales and realization of projects. Quite in terms of the customers, the results are fast and cost-saving all-in solutions for the smooth run of business processes within and between companies.

Since 2005 inubit is successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and thereby assures a high quality of internal company processes in terms of customer satisfaction. Process modeling and documentation is carried out by the inubit BPM-Suite. More than 350 national and international companies from various industries and of different sizes already optimize their processes with inubit products and solutions. inubit AG currently employs 100 members of staff and operates two further sales locations in Vienna and Zurich. inubit is also present worldwide with local partnerships and Joint Ventures.

inubit was elected one of Germany's best employers by the Great Place to Work® Institute in cooperation with the initiative Neue Qualität der Arbeit (New Quality in Work) of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. In the category of 50 to 500 employees, inubit was ranked 20th.


Awarded

In 2007 the inubit BPM-Suite was awarded with the "Innovations- preis Berlin-Brandenburg" and with the "Innovationspreis der Initiative Mittelstand" in the category "BPM" at the CeBIT.
