inubit BPM-Suite: a process management platform for all roles in the energy market

Berlin, January 13, 2010 – Berlin’s inubit AG presents the inubit BPM-Suite process management platform at E-world 2010. The BPM-Suite can be used to automate internal processes and communication processes with external partners and manage and monitor them using workflows. Thanks to the flexible implementation of the processes, existing processes can be easily adjusted to new or changed market rules. E-world is regarded as Europe’s premier energy trade fair and is held in Essen from February 9 to 11. inubit AG will be represented in hall 2, booth 114.

The liberalization of energy markets, new regulations as well as increased cost pressure and customer expectations mean that companies need to work faster, better and, most importantly, more efficiently than ever before. To meet these challenges and survive in the current competitive market, energy providers need efficient processes. inubit offers BPM-Suite-based solutions for schedule management as per ESS, for GPKE and GeLiGas and ebIX for the Swiss market. These make it possible to adjust and implement the European market rules and also ensure a smooth and consistent process flow across different IT systems and company boundaries.

Specifically designed for the implementation of efficient market communication between market partners, inubit’s BPM-Suite supports all the necessary communication protocols and data formats as well as the integration of internal company IT systems. The BPM software thus provides a uniform and standard-compliant communication platform. Employees, customers and market partners are also integrated into the processes via portals, making it possible, for example, to implement flexible sales processes based on customer- and interested-party portals such as smart metering portals.

inubit’s Process Monitor ensures that internal processes interact smoothly. This extensive monitoring component makes it possible to monitor and manage processes across company and system boundaries. The processes thus become transparent, and the new, enhanced version of the inubit Process Monitor now enables key users to actively influence running processes.
