Implementation of inubit BPM solution for data aquisition and quality management at Edeka Minden-Hannover receives award by the Gesellschaft für Organisation (gfo e.V.)

Berlin, May 26th, 2009 – inubit AG wins the Process Solution Award with the successfully implemented project for automated initial data creation at Edeka Minden-Hannover. This award recognizes especially innovative and exemplary BPM projects (Business Process Management) and is bestowed at the Process Solutions Day by the Gesellschaft für Organisation e.V. (Association for Organization, registered association).

At the annually held Process Solutions Day, the largest conference for BPM software solutions in the German-speaking world, the most important available solutions in the field of BPM are presented alongside comparing presentations and the accompanying exhibition. The main focus is on process modeling, SOA/ integration and Human Workflow/ Portals. The specific approach of the Process Solutions Day is geared to combining economic and technical aspects of BPM in its holistic application.

A special highlight is the presentation of the Process Solution Award for exemplary Business Process Management. In the run-up to the conference, numerous practical projects in the field of BPM were handed in and have been examined and evaluated by an independent jury consisting of BPM specialists. inubit AG wins the Process Solution Award with the project of implementing automated master data maintenance at Edeka Minden-Hannover.

Edeka Minden-Hannover, the largest of the seven regional trading companies of the Edeka group, halves the acquisition effort of the initial data creation by using the inubit BPM-Suite and, thus, avoids media breaks during the process. Furthermore, the company increases data consistency and simultaneously reduces breakdown susceptibility along the whole supply chain. The inubit BPM-Suite acts there as central process control layer.

„We are very proud to be honored with the Process Solution Award,” says Michael Hahn, COO of inubit AG. “It acknowledges our approach to optimize business processes in an integrated and sustainably way and, thus, to create a fast and noticeable benefit for our customers. The project at Edeka shows that even the automation of just one single process already has such a massive effect.
