Berlin, February 04, 2010 – At the upcoming CeBIT, Berlin’s inubit AG will present its new and significantly larger range of services under the motto “BPM everywhere”. At the inubit booth in hall 4/F24, visitors can learn about the different facets of Business Process Management (BPM): from the wide-ranging challenges in the introduction of BPM to the implementation of the different requirements of all stakeholders. The highlights are the BPM methodology developed by inubit, the preview of the new Release 5.3 of the inubit BPM-Suite and the world’s first iPhone App that makes BPM accessible to mobile employees.
“Over the last few years, BPM has evolved from mere software to a philosophy that is relevant for the entire enterprise,” says Dr. Torsten Schmale, Chief Executive Officer of inubit AG, in describing the significance of BPM. “Our slogan ‘BPM everywhere’ is meant to illustrate this and promote comprehensive process management. To achieve this, it takes more than modern BPM products, such as the inubit BPM-Suite, which provides users with a range of tools for modeling and implementing processes. The successful implementation of BPM projects also needs a solid methodical basis, which must address the BPM-specific aspects of a project – from the definition of requirements to analysis and design right down to the implementation.
inubit BPM methodology
To meet these requirements, inubit will be offering a purpose-developed BPM methodology in the future. It shows companies which factors are important for a successful introduction of BPM, which measures result from it and how all stakeholders in the enterprise have to be integrated. The applicable methodology depends on the type of BPM introduction: The integrated BPM project methodology (IBPM) is designed for the methodologically-founded implementation of a BPM project. Enterprise BPM (EBPM), in contrast, assists with the strategic implementation of BPM that includes several projects. With this approach, inubit AG is once again significantly extending its range of consulting and training services. This is complemented by the methodological approach using inubit PlanCentral, a new solution accompanying users on the way to IBPM and EBPM.
inubit BPM-Suite 5.3 and iPhone App
The new release 5.3 of the inubit BPM-Suite, which is presented at CeBIT, is also a consistent advancement towards “BPM everywhere. ”With the new version of the inubit BPM-Suite, departments, business analysts and IT can implement the desired business processes together in even less time. The new extended simulation enables testing of modeled processes even before they go live, taking into account all available resources such as employees and their working times, tools and materials. You can also generate an executable workflow directly from the technical model. The underlying schema for business objects can also be generated automatically with the effect that these objects can quickly be integrated into the technical execution level. The inubit BPM-Suite also makes it possible to integrate mobile employees without media discontinuity. From now on, they can use the world’s first iPhone App for BPM to be integrated into the processes and therefore make decisions quicker, complete or delegate tasks and monitor business and technical processes while on the road. Other terminals can also be easily integrated into the processes.
Detailed information about the new release as well as the extended range of methodology and consulting services offered by inubit AG is available directly at the inubit booth at the CeBIT.
