Berlin, March 01, 2010 – inubit AG, a technologically leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software, has been named one of the best 100 employers in Germany. In the category of 50 to 500 employees, the Berlin company was ranked 20th.
This award honors outstanding quality and attractiveness as an employer and, on February 24, 2010, the award was presented by the Great Place to Work® Institute in the presence of the Federal Labor Minister, Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, at an award gala in Berlin.
“Despite the financial crisis, Germany’s best employers have managed to maintain a high level of commitment to their employees,” says Frank Hauser, manager of the Great Place to Work® Institute Germany. “They have recognized that a trust-based relationship with employees is not a ‘luxury’ but a fundamental prerequisite for successful teamwork in the company,” continues Hauser.
As part of the assessment process, inubit AG submitted to a detailed, anonymous survey of all employees. The quality of the company’s human resources policies and programs was also assessed. “Our employees’ satisfaction is our best reference. We are therefore very happy to receive this award, which, ultimately, has been awarded to us by our employees,” explains Dr. Torsten Schmale, Chairman of the Executive Board of inubit AG. “This positive assessment of inubit underscores the great importance we attach to our employee-focused company culture. We treat each other as equals and maintain an open door culture. Our cooperative management style based on trust gives all employees a lot of freedom and a correspondingly high level of responsibility for their work,” adds Franziska Klinger, Human Resources Manager at inubit.
Overall, 235 companies of all sizes, and from all industries and regions, underwent an independent assessment of their quality and attractiveness as employers by the Great Place to Work® Institute. More than 50,000 employees were surveyed in the process. A total of 100 large, mid-size and smaller companies were awarded the “Germany’s best employers 2010” seal of approval. This seal of approval recognizes the management’s forthright, respectful and fair cooperation with employees, employees’ strong identification with their work and vigorous team spirit.
