Berlin, June 22, 2010 – The inubit BiPRO-Server, which inubit AG has developed as the standard software for complex sales processes on the insurance market, has received the seal of approval from b-tix GmbH. This makes inubit the first software company to receive confirmation of 100 percent compliance with the BiPRO standard as well as the high quality of the BiPRO interfaces implemented using the inubit BiPRO-Server and the technical integration of the business partners of insurance companies. IDEAL Lebensversicherung a. G. is already successfully using the inubit BiPRO-Server, which has helped to significantly speed up its sales processes.
The inubit BiPRO-Server is based on the inubit BPM-Suite and acts as the connector between external partner systems and insurance companies’ internal systems. With its BiPRO-Server, inubit - as an active member of BiPRO (industry initiative for process optimization) - enables the implementation of all existing BiPRO standards straight “out-of-the-box”, with new ones provided free of charge as part of software maintenance. With very little development effort, insurance companies can quickly and easily implement all standards and offer their partners standard-compliant access to all relevant information.
The compliance check carried out by b-tix GmbH means that BiPRO compliance and the high quality of the interfaces have been confirmed by an independent body. Experienced auditors and BiPRO experts checked implementations and interfaces for compliance with BiPRO standards. In addition, extensive interviews and tests in the customer’s individual system environment and the check of program sources demonstrated that a completed implementation does not deviate from the BiPRO standard. inubit was the first software company to undergo this audit and, at the end, received the private sector seal of approval for the rating, application, quotation (TAA) processes for composite/property, personal accident and general liability insurance (SUH), TAA life, TAA motoring insurance, TAA health insurance, for the eVB retrieval/registration process as well as for the publication of services via UDDI.
The inubit BiPRO-Server also meets all practical requirements, confirms Jörg Treiner, IT and new media manager at IDEAL Lebensversicherung: “As a real-time insurer aiming to establish an ‘insurance factory’, IDEAL depends on fast sales processes. The inubit BiPRO-Server is a tool with which we can integrate BiPRO interfaces in our internal systems without having to focus our development on all aspects of the extensive BiPRO standards”. Among other things, IDEAL uses inubit to automate the rating, application and quotation processes, integrate online broker connections and transport data for GDV (federation of German insurance companies) data exchange. By using the inubit BiPRO-Server, IDEAL profits from a higher rate of background processing as well as a shorter time-to-market cycle in product development. Thinking about future developments, Jörg Treiner adds: “The openness of the inubit BiPRO-Server means that we can be sure that we can make adjustments ourselves. That helps us focus on our core tasks: The fast and flexible integration of sales processes between our partners and us.”
