Portal for Online Gas Market Balance Sheets

inubit AG and Steria Mummert Consulting (SMC) have developed a new product for the energy market. The market partner portal "GAS-X-Portal" enables users to view billing results in form of time series, data and documents online. The Portal is multi-client capable and can be used to present time series of quantities and balance results or state variables, gas quality or invoice documents. 

Thanks to the bundling of the bi-directional data exchange, highly complex and very diverse requirements can be implemented effectively. Exclusively for one customer, the provided data can be displayed visually, downloaded spontaneously or the customer can subscribe to them periodically. High manual efforts (mailings, editing via Excel...) are no longer necessary. The customer receives the required data directly in the electronic form agreed upon.

Implemented at NetConnect Germany and Thyssengas

Thanks to the parallel start-up at NetConnect Germany and Thyssengas, the portal functions are available to customers in both market areas. The portal-based GAS-X solution enables all market participants to enter and view allocation data, submit declarations, and to subscribe to reports based on these.

The background of this development is the consolidation of market areas in the German gas market initiated with the Energy Market Act. Current legislation demands further reduction of market areas by April 2011.
